Using Documents

Some features allow you to attach documents. Documents help you keep track of agreements or information that exist outside of LexisNexis® CounselLink™. They may include receipts, correspondence, videos, or other pertinent information.

A file can be attached to a specific matter, invoice, or intake. You can also upload them simply for reference.

When a document is added, any user with permission to read the document can search and view it. Your law firms have additional ways to upload documents; they can do so during the invoice upload process. These documents are also available via a document search.

NOTE The size of a single attachment is limited to 100 MB. There is no limit to the number of attachments that can be made or the size of a batch of attachments made at one time.
