LexisNexis CounselLink Release Notes (Law Firm) - Version 23.1.0

Release Date: February 11, 2023

We are pleased to announce the CounselLink 23.1.0 release.

The significant updates to the CounselLink - Law Firm application includes the ability to add documents to individual charges on an invoice once it is entered into CounselLink. It also features continued UI updates across the application to align with Lexis+ design standards. The sign-in page now follows these standards with an updated look.

Updates

  • The CounselLink sign-in page and law firm registration page have been updated to align with Lexis+ brand standards. The functionality for these pages remains the same.

  • Client and law firm users can now attach documents to individual invoice charges. Documents attached to a charge will be accessible on the individual charge line or from the Documents tab on the Invoice Overview page. Documents can be added from the More Actions button on the Charges tab of the Invoice Overview. Documents cannot be added at the charge level during the Invoice Import process. However, they can be added to charges after the invoice is imported.

  •

  • As of August 2021, Microsoft fully discontinued support for the Internet Explorer web browser. CounselLink will no longer function in Internet Explorer starting this release. Please switch to one of our supported browsers.

CounselLink Resolved Issues

The following issues have been fixed in the CounselLink 23.1.0 release:

  • CL-157380 - Fixed an issue with Invoice Import on a 1998B LEDES file that was preventing the user from adding tax information.

  • CL-158016 - Law firm reported an issue where a user did not receive a rejection email from Paper Processing due to an inactive login. Law firm users now receive email notifications regardless of login status. Client users will still need an active login status to receive notifications.

  • CL-161285 - Fixed an issue with the length of a law firm user's name that prevented access to the Law Firm Profile page.

  • CL-161534 - It was reported that some law firm users did not appear under offices they were assigned to. This issue has been fixed so that, even if users do not have roles assigned to an office, they still appear under offices to which they are added.
