LexisNexis CounselLink Release Notes (Law Firm) - Version 23.2.0

We are pleased to announce the CounselLink 23.2.0 release.

The CounselLink - Law Firm application includes the release of the Tasks feature for Law Firms, which allows greater collaboration and communication opportunities on Matters. In-app notifications are now available, which alert users when they are tagged within a comment.

Updates

  • The Tasks feature is now available. Users can create, assign, and manage the status of tasks on a matter, either internally or in collaboration with a client. Law firm users can tag client users within task comments and vice versa. Access your due and upcoming tasks on the Tasks homepage panel.

     

  • In-app notifications are now enabled for users. Users will now see an alert at the top of their homepage notifying when they are tagged in a comment on a document, accrual, budget, invoice, intake, or task. These notifications provide the comment text and a link to the comment within the application. Users can turn off these notifications from their User Profile page if desired.

  • The My Calendar view UI has been updated to help improve the user experience. Users can toggle through different views and hover over time slots to create a new event.

CounselLink Resolved Issues

The following issues have been fixed in the CounselLink 23.2.0 release:

  • CL-166677 - Fixed an issue where uploading Timekeeper rates resulted in an unknown error.
